Naval officer’s baton

Very rare English naval officer’s staff, entirely made of ivory sections separated by fine tortoiseshell rings; the number of rings determines the officer’s category. A ring nut and a capsule, both in silver, enclose the handle. A small daisy is hand-painted to decorate the capsule.
